Hola, you can call me Silvia.

I am a Psychotherapist / Mental Health Specialist who enjoys traveling, dancing, yoga, nature, art, music, and spending with my son and my two dogs.

I was born and raised in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.

I have been living in Chicago for the past 25+ years and I now call it home

(yes, I am used to the cold weather by now).

I am a person who is generally happy, friendly, and respectful of others.

I highly enjoy my profession and live life to the fullest.

I am currently enrolled in a PsyD Doctoral Program in

Clinical Psychology at Adler University.

Love is my religion.

I like to talk, read, and learn about

Meditation

and Technology

I have 14 years of experience as a psychotherapist.

I am a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE)

and the ONLY one in the State of Illinois with an Immigration Specialization.

(reference: NBFE.net)

Every year I procure at least 180-200 hours of advanced training in different areas of psychology, psychotherapy, or professional development

as required by my IL professional license.
